Newport Montessori School was opened in 2005 to serve the needs of our growing community. Over the years, the school has earned praise for its continuous achievement in student test scores AND consistently high levels of parent satisfaction. In 2022, the school won the Best of Newport: School Category for the 5th consecutive year.
A number of the founding teachers still teach at Newport Montessori School – a testament to the warmth and spirit of this learning community.
In compliance with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act regulations 40 CFR 763, Subpart E (AHERA), the Newport Montessori School is required to notify parents, teachers, and all other building occupants that an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) is available to them in the main school office. If you require more detailed information, please call the school, and staff will direct your inquiry to the District’s designated person for asbestos information.
