Thank you to the Burkehaven Family Foundation for their incredible continued generosity and support of our school! We have received a large donation that will benefit our Special Education Services as well as our Tuition Assistance Program!
A heartfelt thank you to LaValley Building Supply for their generous donation of wood pellets for use with our classroom pets throughout the 23-24 school year!
More than 1,000 boys and girls have walked our halls since Newport Montessori opened in 2005.
Every day, to begin your student's school day, they will be greeted with the Montessori greeting as he/she enters the school building.
Our school comprises a talented staff of Montessori & state-certified professionals. The school employs 10 classroom teachers and 4 specialists and works with numerous special educators.
Our goal is to create a warm, open environment where students feel safe enough to ask questions, explore and seek answers. We challenge every student to surpass his or her own personal best and help them over the hills and through the valleys of these growing years. Newport Montessori is particularly proud of its diversity and takes every opportunity to celebrate those characteristics that make us different. We welcome all who come through our door.
In compliance with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act regulations 40 CFR 763, Subpart E (AHERA), the Newport Montessori School is required to notify parents, teachers, and all other building occupants that an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) is available to them in the main school office. If you require more detailed information, please call the school, and staff will direct your inquiry to the District’s designated person for asbestos information.
